PORT TECHNOLOGY FOR LOADING AND UNLOADING SHIPS
In numerous supply chains ships are an indispensable form of transport. Every hour that a freighter is delayed in a port for too long increases the production costs. Another important productivity factor is the speedy loading&unloading of ships. It is best when the manufacturer of the port technology is able to adapt his system to the available local space and the variable sizes of the vessels, at the same time taking into account the properties of the goods to be transported. From the entire conveyor technology to the actual loading&unloading of the ships, we ensure the smooth handling of the bulk materials.
OUR TECHNOLOGY ON SHIP LOADING& UNLOADING AT A GLANCE
The nature of the terminal is decisive for the port technology used. As a result of the qualified design and also in coordination with the port operator – a system is created that makes economic port handling possible. Let us now go into the individual ship loaders& unloaders. The stationary ship loader&unloader, mobile ship loader&unloader rail mounted and tyres mounted is used most frequently. This technology achieves a large radius when loading&unloading with its hydraulically telescopic beam. the mobile ship loaders&unloader offer an advantage here. They move along the entire ship. The power supply for the main drive is provided by cable drums. With capacity up to 3,000 tons per hour, they load&unload inland and ocean-going vessels. Jibs are designed to be rotatable or liftable and lowerable by winches or hydraulic cylinders for even distribution in the cargo hold.
Ship unloading could be also with equilibrium crane or STS crane with grab.

Tyres Mounted Ship Loader
The mobile ship loader mounted on tyres, which could be moved by self driving inside of the dock area, for free the space when it not be used. the tyres mounted ship loader consisted with a boom, travelling chasis, feeder and telescopic chute.
The Equilibrium Crane, Self-balance Crane, mounted on port/jetty or barge for dry bulk cargos unloading with high capacity up to 500TPH, as well the crane could handle the scrap/steel scrap etc. with or orange peel grabs.
Pneumatic Ship Unloader
GBM is manufacturing the high capacity pneumatic ship unloaders for dust free unloading of abrasive dry bulk cargo. the ship unloaders can unload barges and bulk carriers with unloading capacities up to 800tons per hour. GBM is doing the turnkey project customized.

Mobile Port Hopper with /without Dedusting system for the bulk Cargo handling on port, movable by self driving or towing on tires or rails

Rails Mounted Ship Loader
Bucket Ship Unloader
Ship Loader mounted on rails, which could be movable along with the ship, so that the ship no required to move. the ship loader consisted with boom, tail belt conveyor, gantry unit and telescopic chute, the shore power could be used for operation.
The Bucket type ship unloader with the bucket elevating system, dig the cargoes from vessel and elevating to the transfer hopper then, tranport the cargoes to belt conveyor, which are using for the lump cargoes unloading.
STS with Grab
Ship to Shore(STS) with Grab for the dry bulk cargoes ship unloading with high capacity up to 3000TPH. the cargoes unloaded from ship and loading to the hopper intergrated in the Gantry of STS, then discharg to truck or belt conveyor.
Loading Technology for Inland and Cargo Ships
The size of the ships that are to be loaded is also an important specification when developing the correct system. Barges are relatively short vessels. So stationary ship loaders do a marvelous job here. But the ocean bulk carriers also have to be loaded. Ship with a length of hundreds meters, which with big height, the technology at the harbors loading point requires an expedient construction. Port Technology for Coarse and Powdered bulk goods
The properties of the bulk materials to be loaded will determine the port technology used in the construction. Coarse bulk materials such as lumpy ores or clinker for cement production are loaded into the holds of a freighter with the help of conveyor belts and a vertical telescopic pipe. With powdery bulk materials, the conveying systems are encapsulated, i.e. completely enclosed. Filter systems optimise the procedure so that an exchange of the raw material with the environment is prevented efficiently. A spiral conveyor or pneumatic conveyor can also be used as a flexible solution for the delivery of very fine-grained products.
